vSUPPORT is an all-inclusive, fixed-cost solution that supports a computing environment of any size and complexity. We have eliminated the traditional “bill for hours” approach, which burdens the client by requiring payment based on time needed to solve the issue, and replaced it with a “pay for results” approach.

Solution Description

Our vSUPPORT solution is based on accountability and responsibility. We provide a fixed-cost solution that ensures availability and uptime is achieved. While traditional service consultants profit significantly by providing emergency service, our approach actually costs us if reactive service is required. We offer a unified approach that is synonymous with our clients’ goals – a computer environment that provides consistent optimal performance for a fixed-fee.

 

Quick and Easy Startup
To get you started with vSUPPORT, we conduct a simple survey of your environment. We then create a fixed-cost support agreement based on the devices that will be placed under support. Devices are categorized as:

  • Computers (desktops, workstations, servers)
  • Network equipment (firewall, routers, switches)
  • Printers

Network Maintenance
Proactive network maintenance minimizes the incidence of slow, inconsistent, or interrupted service. The following tasks will be scheduled and performed as needed to ensure stability and performance:

  • System log review
  • Configuration backups
  • Port bandwidth and error monitoring
  • Latency monitoring across the network and internet

Computer Maintenance
Proactive computer maintenance ensures that systems are running at maximum efficiency so users can maintain productivity and data is secure and available. The following tasks will be scheduled and performed as needed to ensure stability and performance:

  • Security updates
  • Antivirus / Antispyware updates
  • System health checks (disk, CPU, memory, services and hardware)
  • Event logs review
  • Backup monitoring
  • Network service checks (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)

On-Demand Support
On-demand support will include both remote and on-site services. The appropriate engineers will be deployed on-site as necessary. The following support will be provided:

  • 24/7 phone support
  • Network support including:
    • Connectivity trouble shooting (Internet, WAN, LAN)
    • Port/VLAN changes and configuration of existing network equipment
    • Wiring or patching to existing switches
  • Workstation setups
    • Physical setup of systems
    • Add into domain
    • Account creation or migration
    • Initial software install
  • Backoffice
    • Add/delete groups
    • Add/delete users or passwords
    • Update user/group accounts
    • Create/delete/update storage shares
    • Update DNS and DHCP services
  • Printers
    • Add printers to the network
    • Add printers to user profiles
  • Software (OS, desktop software and other as specified)
    • Troubleshooting
    • Installation and configuration
    • Troubleshooting printing issues
